Feed Evansville to install little free food pantries in parks

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – The City of Evansville’s Board of Park Commissioners approves the installation of Feed Evansville’s little free food pantries in various parks in the city.

A representative of Feed Evansville says these pantries will look very similar to a free little libraries seen in various locations. They say the organization will supply it with non-perishables and snack items.

The organization says they have seen success with a previous one operating near Vann-Pollack park, and have not seen any liability issues surrounding this project.

When and where these pantries will be built is unknown at this time.
