BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Florida Tech men’s soccer and Head Coach Nick Robinson have announced the team’s 2024 schedule ahead of his first season leading the program. The slate features 17 games, including eight home matches and a 10-game Sunshine State Conference schedule.

Florida Tech’s regular season kicks off on September 6 with a neutral match against Lander in Winter Park. Two days later, the Panthers face off against Wingate in the same location in the afternoon of September 8. On September 10, the team embarks on their first true road game, traveling to Saint Leo to take on the Lions.

Limestone comes to Melbourne the following week, on September 17, before the Panthers head out on a two-match road trip and begin conference play.

“We open the season against three programs that are predominately nationally ranked in Wingate, Lander & Rollins. This will be a great indication of where we are at early in the season,” said Coach Robinson. “Our home opener on September 17th is a rematch of last season’s regional final against Limestone University. We anticipate this being another great test before we open conference play.”

The Panthers open SSC play on September 25 at Rollins College before traveling to Daytona Beach to play Embry-Riddle three days later (September 28).

October starts with the Panthers hosting Saint Leo for the second time on October 2. Florida Tech then hits the road to Saint Augustine to face Flagler on October 5 before heading back to Melbourne to play Palm Beach Atlantic on October 9.

The squad heads to Tampa on October 12, then Fort Lauderdale to play Nova Southeastern on October 16.

The Panthers are home for five of the final six matches of the regular season. Florida Southern and Rollins College come to Melbourne for the next two games, with the Mocs coming in on October 19 and the Tars on October 23.

On October 26, Florida Tech will compete in their final true road match of the season in Saint Petersburg against Eckerd College before a three-match home stretch to wrap up the 2024 campaign.

The month of October comes to a close for Florida Tech as they host Lynn on October 30. In the final two games of the regular season, Nova Southeastern and Barry will show up in Melbourne on November 2 and 8, respectively.

Coach Robinson said, “Our conference schedule is always challenging, and we look forward to seeing what this team can accomplish for the 2024 season.”

The Sunshine State Conference Tournament is from November 11-17, and the NCAA Championships will start on November 22.

Florida Tech is coming off a 13-3-5 season and run to the NCAA Final Four during the 2023 season.
