Counting down 9 most interesting Philadelphia Eagles for 2024 season

The Eagles had a busy offseason overhauling a good part of the roster while also maintaining the core of a 2023 team that started 10-1 only to crash and burn with a 1-6 finish including a first-round exit.

The Eagles have done this in three phases: free agency, the draft, and signing key players to long-term and lucrative contract extensions.

All of this took place with a coaching shakeup, too, as head coach Nick Sirianni ceded control of the offense to new coordinator Kellen Moore while also bringing defensive coordinator Vic Fangio.

The changes will be evident when the Eagles officially embark on the 2024 season upon reporting to training camp on July 23, with the first practice the following day. So to get ready, we’re counting down the 9 most interesting players in reverse order until we hit No. 1 on training camp reporting day.

Keep in mind, these aren’t necessarily the best players. Rather, they’re the players who will determine whether the Eagles have a successful season or not beginning with the season opener on Sept. 6 in Brazil.

Check back each day for a new entry. Here’s the schedule:

No. 9: Bryce Huff, edge rusher

No. 8: Coming July 12

No. 7: Coming July 15

No. 6: Coming July 16

No. 5: Coming July 17

No. 4: Coming July 18

No. 3: Coming July 19

No. 2: Coming July 22

No. 1: Coming July 23
